NC Concealed Carry Class.
THIS IS NOT AN INTRODUCTORY COURSE OR A CLASS TO TEACH YOU HOW TO SHOOT. Please make sure that you are familiar with the fundamentals of pistol shooting (i.e. loading, unloading, grip, aim, sight alignment, sight picture, etc.). If you are a new shooter, i recommend that you first either take my Introduction to Handgun Course or do some private lessons with me.
The structure and content of this course is mandatory and established by the state. It is comprised of:

8 hours of classroom instruction, including a review of the laws governing the use of deadly force, the North Carolina concealed carry statute, and other relevant issues

The live fire qualification on a local shooting range, which consists of firing 50 rounds from 1, 3, 5, and 7 yards.
Upon successful completion of this class, you will receive your North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit Training Certificate, which is necessary to get your Concealed Handgun Permit from the Sheriff.

This is an intermediate level course. This course is for citizens who already conceal carries either for years or is just getting into it.

Minimum Gear Requirements

Semi-Automatic Pistol Chambered no lower than a .380 Caliper. Preferably a pistol that holds at least 10 rounds.

3 or more Magazines

A High-Quality Holster that is made for inside the waistband Carry. Kydex is preferred. No Nylon or Leather Holsters allowed.

Sturdy Belt with clothing you actually carry in.

Ear and Eye Protection.
-
Magazine Carrier if your holster does not have one attached to it.

Minium of 300 rounds of ammunition.

Extra Batteries if you are running an optic on your firearm.
